Vertebral tumors are abnormal growths that develop within the bones of the spine (vertebrae) or the tissues surrounding the spine. These tumors can be either primary (originating within the spine) or secondary (resulting from the spread of cancer from other parts of the body).
Symptoms of vertebral tumors may include back pain, pain that worsens with activity, pain at rest, neurological problems, fractures (due to tumor weakening vertebrae), difficulty walking, and unexplained weight loss.
